The St Anne’s Society acquired a royal charter as St Anne’s College in 1952, and in 1959 full college status along with the other women’s colleges. Meanwhile student numbers grew to nearly 300, which called for more accommodation and led to the construction of the Wolfson and Rayne buildings in 1964 and 1968.
St.Anne’s Degree College has been making steady progress in different fields of education and I feel confident that our college has made impressive efforts in imparting a globalized education to enable our students to make the best of the challenges and opportunities it offers.
At St Anne’s, our ambition is to create a diverse and inclusive community that will contribute to the University’s vision to lead the world in education and research. Each year St Anne’s welcomes up to 40 'Study Abroad' Visiting Students, who spend up to a year experiencing the academic and social life of an Oxford College. How to apply We welcome applications from undergraduate students studying outside the UK, with a minimum grade point average of 3.7 (out of 4) or equivalent.
