Early Life[ edit] Shawn Schepps was born on July 25, 1961 in Brooklyn, New York, but was raised in Los Angeles, California in the neighborhood of Grenada Hills. She was brought up in a Jewish household by her mother and father. As a child, she took acting lessons and learned ballet and tap dancing. Schepps got her first agent at age 7.
