British actor David Buck played a variety of strong roles in Hollywood cinema. Buck began his career with roles in "Hornblower" (ABC, 1962-63) and the drama "Deadfall" (1968) with Michael Caine.
David Buck was appointed Principal Flute of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra in 2017. Praised for his "supple tone, rhythmic dynamism and technical agility” (The Oregonian), he was previously Principal Flute of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and has also held positions with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Oregon Symphony.
Buck also appeared in "Mosquito Squadron" with David McCallum (1970), "The Lord of the Rings" (1978) and "Henry IV, Part One" (PBS, 1979-1980).
