Shirin is a prime example of this. If someone came to me and said “hey I made this cool avant-garde film where the camera only focuses on the faces of the audience members for the entire runtime of a play,” I’d think that was cool. However if that person asked me to watch said film, I’d lie and say I had school work to do or something.

Nel film, infatti, si ritrova molta dell’esperienza personale della Neshat.
