The film is called DREAMING GRAND AVENUE but only the opening shot takes place AT Grand when Jimmy and Maggie meet there in a dream. I think Hugh Schulze thought up the title, loved it so much, and decided hell or high water he would use it. Jimmy is an artist looking for work.
Written and directed by Hugh Schulze. Maggie and Jimmy have never met, but they keep showing up in each other’s dreams. As they navigate memories, traumas, hopes and desires in sleep and the waking world, they’ll discover the truth of their linked destiny with the help of a dream detective, a sleep scientist and the poet Walt Whitman himself.
