I have read you can add a dash of vinegar to lower the pH so you can increase the morphine extraction. All the same, you will get approx. 2/3 of the raw opium to dissolve and the water will turn.
I will naturally strip test it, but might send it in for lab testing as well if raw opium is known to be often cut. First and foremost, test your shit. If it smells floral it's probably opium. If it smells like vinegar it's heroin. Second, opium is best taken orally or in your butthole.

The ideal time for harvesting is when the pods are still green and slightly swollen. Avoid plants with mature pods as they will have a lower alkaloid content.
