The "war" for democracy in Ukraine (read: the US trying to control Ukraine) really began, in ernest, in 1991, a few years after the fall of the Wall & the USSR. The US invested $5B USD (US tax payers money) in "bringing 'democracy' " to Ukraine. It's hilarious that the premise is in 2014 the country's corrupt president was "toppled".
