He succeeded his father in the lordship of Faenza in 1488 at the age of three. In 1501 he was deposed by Cesare Borgia and sent to Rome.

Figlio (1485-1502) di Galeotto. Mortogli il padre vittima di una congiura (1488), fu signore sotto la reggenza degli anziani e la protezione della signoria di Firenze. Quando Faenza, dopo aver resistito tenacemente alla pressione di Cesare Borgia, finì col cedergli (1501), Astorgio, prigioniero contro i patti, fu fatto sopprimere a Roma.
Astorre II Manfredi (8 December 1412 – 12 March 1468) was lord of Imola from 1439 and of Faenza from 1443. He was born in Faenza, the son of Gian Galeazzo I Manfredi. Apart Faenza and Imola, he was Papal vicar at Fusignano and other lands in Romagna together with his brother Gian Galeazzo II. He also fought as captain for several local rulers.
