14 apr 2020 · Le prophète Shu’ayb, connu, dans la Bible, sous le nom de Jéthro, est l’un des quatre prophètes arabes mentionnés dans le Coran. Plusieurs érudits croient que Shu’ayb était le vieil homme qui avait offert l’hospitalité, la sécurité et la main d’une de ses filles à Moïse, lorsque celui-ci avait fui l’Égypte.
Son histoire servit à la prédication de Mahomet, ce qui explique les allusions à la biographie de ce dernier qui y ont été insérés.
