1 gen 2001 · The Wimbledon Poisoner is a classic suburban black comedy of manners, a clichéd description but accurate. Think David Lodge set in suburbia rather than academia or Reggie Perrin. Like a lot of other reviewers I first read this novel many years ago, and have revisited it recently, largely (entirely) because I now live in Wimbledon.
