Oscar Wilde (paternal grandfather) Constance Lloyd (paternal grandmother) Christopher Merlin Vyvyan Holland (born December 1945) is a British biographer and editor. He is the only grandchild of Oscar Wilde, whose life he has researched and written about extensively.
5 giorni fa · Holland wrote a moving account of his difficult childhood in Son of Oscar Wilde (1954) and its sequel, Time Remembered, After Père Lachaise (1966). In Son of Oscar Wilde, he recounted that an uncle had informed him that he was born on November 5 but that his parents disliked that date (because it was Guy Fawkes Day) and chose instead to identify his birthday as November 3.

In 1943 she married Oscar Wilde's only surviving son, and in 1945 she gave birth to Oscar's only grandson, Merlin. The Hollands lived in Melbourne from 1948-1952. Vyvyan died in 1967. Thelma died in 1995. In 1981 the Australian satirist Barry Humphries (think "Dame Edna Everage"!) met Thelma at a party in London.

Io avevo comprato questo libro a Dublino, riporta gli atti del processo, non so se sia stato tradotto, non credo.
