This soundtrack is killer. First of all, it was my second favorite movie after Pee-Wee's Big Adventure as a kid, so it had nostalgic meaning. But all that aside, the soundtrack is by Danny Elfman, so naturally it had kind of a spooky feel with a carnival twist.

24 ago 2005 · I bought it because I'm a die hard fan of Elfman, however I never listen to it. I'd suggest spending your money on "Music for a Darkened Theatre" Elfman's BEST OF CD. It has all the highlights from Big Top that you'd ever really need. Danny Elfman's score compliments the movie. There are a few snippets of dialogue thru out. It's a fun CD.

Pee-wee's Big Adventure è un film commedia statunitense del 1985 diretto da Tim Burton, con protagonista il personaggio di Pee-wee Herman, interpretato da Paul Reubens. Il film ha avuto due sequel: Big Top Pee-wee - La mia vita picchiatella (1988) e Pee-wee's Big Holiday (2016), mentre tra il 1986 e il 1990 viene mandata in onda la serie TV Pee-wee's Playhouse .

Warner Home Video released Pee-wee's Big Adventure on DVD in May 2000, with audio commentary by Tim Burton, Paul Reubens and Danny Elfman (the latter on a separate track, alongside an isolated score) and some deleted scenes.
