Giovanni Morassutti was born in Padua, Italy from a German mother and an Italian father on March 15th 1980. While still in high school he began to study acting with Susan Strasberg. At 18 years old, he moved to New York City to study The Method. In 1999 he was an intern at the Actors Studio, where he observed the sessions for about a year.
