George Keppel, 3rd Earl of Albemarle KG PC (London, 8 April 1724 – 13 October 1772), styled Viscount Bury until 1754, was a British general and nobleman. He is best known for his decisive victory over the Spanish during capture of Havana in 1762, as part of the Seven Years' War .
Lieutenant-General Willem (or William) Anne van Keppel, 2nd Earl of Albemarle KG KB PC (5 June 1702 – 22 December 1754) was a British soldier, diplomat and courtier. Keppel griff als Oppositionsabgeordneter die Toryregierung in Marinefragen im Parlament scharf an. Lord Albemarle married, firstly, the Hon. Elizabeth Southwell, daughter of Edward Southwell, 20th Baron de Clifford, on 9 April 1792. They had at least twelve children: William Keppel, Viscount Bury (1793–1804), died young. Augustus Frederick Keppel, 5th Earl of Albemarle (1794–1851), who married Frances Steer. No issue.
