Joe and Micronauts properties, Paramount began to negotiate with Art Marcum and Matt Holloway ( Iron Man ), as well as Ken Nolan ( Black Hawk Down ), to write the film.

She co-wrote the first part with Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner, and wrote the second part on her own. Her screenwriting credits also include “Saving Mr. Banks” (2013) and “Fifty Shades of Grey” (2015).
