What is this blues rhythm technique called? (see 1:36-1:59) I am learning to play blues guitar, and having fun jamming along to the many backing tracks online. I have noticed that often "Blues Shuffle" backing tracks include this short section where the band mostly drops out and gives the song room to breathe, before coming back in full of energy.
