I first interviewed Don Perlin in 2003 for my now, long defunct, web-site Adelaide Comics and Books. Don was high on my list of people that I really wanted to speak to, primarily due to his work on Ghost Rider for Marvel Comics.
4 giorni fa · During this time, he began his long association with Charlton Comics, where he did work in the genres of science fiction, horror, and mystery. He also cocreated the superhero Captain Atom in 1960. During the 1950s, Ditko also drew for Atlas Comics , a forerunner of Marvel Comics.

1 giorno fa · Watchmen originated from a story proposal Moore submitted to DC featuring superhero characters that the company had acquired from Charlton Comics. As Moore's proposed story would have left many of the characters unusable for future stories, managing editor Dick Giordano convinced Moore to create original characters instead.
Not even sure if this was a published page, all I have to go on is that it's 13x19 and someone I know who used to work in the industry said it looks like Charlton (or DC) most likely 70s. I'm not getting anything from the "Murphy" signature so I'm not sure if it could be a pseudonym. Any information welcome. I wish I had more context.
