Danilo Pérez (born December 29, 1965) is a Panamanian pianist, composer, educator, and a social activist. His music is a blend of Panamanian roots with elements of Latin American folk music, jazz, European impressionism, African, and other musical heritages that promote music as a multi-dimensional bridge between people.
A Grammy Award winner, pianist, composer, producer, and educator, Danilo Pérez is also a social activist, humanitarian, and leading proponent of global jazz. Pérez is among the most influential and dynamic musicians of our time.

Biografia. Danilo muove i primi passi verso il suo futuro da musicista all'età di tre anni, grazie a suo padre, già immerso nel mondo della musica in quanto cantante di una band. In seguito approccerà a studi classici al conservatorio, specializzandosi in pianoforte classico, al Conservatorio Nazionale di Panama. [1]
