3 giorni fa · Eliphaz wasn’t convinced of Job’s godliness to begin with. He tells Job that whatever sin(s) has brought him to this suffering needs to be death. Eliphaz believed Job needed to stop making these statements of supposed godliness and deal with the hypocrisy in his heart. This frustrated Job, because he wasn’t aware of any unconfessed sin.
