There’s something quite unsettling about realising you no longer are trying to change yourself the way you once did. You’re no longer try to impress people, prove yourself, explain yourself, or achieve and succeed and conform the way you once did. Yes, it’s freeing, it’s relieving, it’s worth celebrating.
Where you no longer wonder about the things you dreamed of being or becoming as a child, not merely because those dreams were beaten out of you by your parents telling you to ‘grow up’, or ‘that wont make money’, but because you became an adult in a world that actively SHOWED you, there was no place for dreams and creativity.
