What leaves a bad taste in people's mouths are the people who film themselves doing "good deeds" they likely would not do otherwise, for the sake of social media views (and/or to feed their own narcissism). Bottom line, you shouldn't do nice things for others for the expectation of adulation or other form of acknowledgement.
