5 giorni fa · Grizzly bear, common name for a brown bear belonging to the subspecies Ursus arctos horribilis. It is a massive animal with humped shoulders and an elevated forehead. The fur is brownish to buff, and the hairs are usually silver- or pale-tipped to give the grizzled effect for which it is named.
