5 giorni fa · I normally prefer the album versions, even with The Fall, but Microdisney's Peel Sessions, especially anything from their debut album Everybody Is Fantastic, are mostly much better than the official releases. Compare the final track on that album with the unhinged and astonishing Peel version.

5 giorni fa · Since hearing it on the Peel sessions boxset this is the definitive one for me. How about great session tracks that never actually got recorded? The song Deerhunter recorded for a Marc Riley session and never released, the early New Order-ish 60 Cycle Hum, is one of my favourites of theirs.
