I’d recommend 400 ISO for a beginner for that reason, and Kodak Ultramax 400 is basically the 400 ISO equivalent of Gold 200, with very similar colors. I personally live in a cloudy place and do a lot of night photography, so I almost always use at least 400 ISO film, and 800+ at night. Hope this helps, and happy shooting!
