4 giorni fa · After co-writing a pair of “women in prison” cheapies for Corman, Demme claimed the director’s chair for 1974’s CAGED HEAT, which remains one of the disreputable genre’s most notable entries thanks to cinematography from Tak Fujimoto, music by the Velvet Underground’s John Cale, and a (relatively!) socially conscious, three-dimensional approach thanks to Demme’s script and direction.
