Yonatan Uziel (Hebrew: יונתן עוזיאל; born March 26, 1975) is an Israeli actor and model best known for appearing in Prisoners of War and Hostages.
Jonathan ben Uzziel ( Hebrew: יונתן בן עוזיאל) was one of the 80 tannaim who studied under Hillel the Elder during the time of Roman-ruled Judea. [1] A book of kabbalah known as Sefer Migdanim has been attributed to him. [2] Jonathan ben Uzziel is mentioned several times in the Talmud. [3]

Yonatan ben Uziel is considered to have been Hillel’s greatest student. The Talmud describes how his Torah study was so intense that birds flying above him during his studies would burn. He is credited with translating and explaining the Prophets in Aramaic.

Targum Jonathan (Hebrew: תרגום יונתן בן עוזיאל), otherwise referred to as Targum Yonasan/Yonatan, is the official eastern targum (Aramaic translation) to the Nevi'im ("prophets").
14 ott 2021 · The Tana Yonatan ben Uziel is the author of a translation on the Torah and on the Prophets. He wrote his translation on the last prophets, including Chagai, Zecharia and Malachi. His comment is unique in that, unlike Onkelos, it goes far beyond the original meaning of the verses.
