Izuku would also most definitely try copy other heroes quirks and abilities using support equipment and if he see's how eraserhead's scarf can not only be used as a capture tool but also a long weapon and as a piece of mobility gear then there's no reason for him to not make a piece of support gear that would allow him to do everything that eraserhead does more easily.
