  3. As the title suggests, I'm looking for some scholarly writing on Moby-Dick (or Melville more generally) which looks at the role of nature. This can be in any respect, whether it be ecocriticism, nature-philosophy, etc. For one reason or another, I can't seem to find anything, despite this being likely a very rich field. Cheers

Essentially it is the story of Captain Ahab and his obsession with trying to kill the unique white whale, Moby Dick.
