When I send myself an email from a GMail account, nothing reaches me. I called GoDaddy 3 times today, 2nd guy said 1st guy didn't set up MX record correctly. He fixed it, 3rd guy said hosting email will be shut down soon and isn't surprised it isn't working. He went and updated some records as well, even though #2 guy supposedly fixed that.

Can you send/receive e-mail using the web-interface OK? Have you checked all the Inbox tabs (if you have them enabled): Primary, Social, Promotions, Updates, and Forums? Have you looked in the “All Mail” label for the missing messages? What about “Trash” (or “Bin”, but not “[imap]/Trash” or anything else)?
