And anime's like RahXephon do well in crafting a story like that (although RahXephon only has one episode like that out of 20+😅), sometimes these shows even deals with the problem, but that's not a necessary criteria, though appreciated. I know satoshi kon's works are like this, I hope there are others like these shows.
