Near the end I noticed Ed Harris wearing a silver POW bracelet, and I was transported back to when 8 was 10 yo and I too wore one. Hadnt thought/remembered that in many decades. POW bracelet - you bought and had a name (and date…can’t remember if birthdate or date of being captured …most likely) of captured POWs.
21 ago 2022 · I also have a strong hunch that spoiler culture is affecting how well people like Ed Harris can do their jobs. Joy & Nolan have said repeatedly, even recently, that they've had the show's ending in mind since they wrote the pilot—but it's also clear that they've not shared much about the ending elements with actors themselves.

Many of the most-honored actors in film today annoy me beyond endurance because I constantly catch them performing, showing off, strutting, as if they were tugging on the audience's lapels, trying to draw us closer, making sure we see them acting.
23 mar 2024 · Saw the movie years ago. Ed's character beats his sons best friends father to death. Maybe it was his mother's boy friend. Ed goes to prison. His son finally visits him there. During their talk Ed tells his son he beat the man to death because he was raping his best friend.
