3 giorni fa · 6 teams have successfully completed a challenging Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award assessed expedition to the Rhinog mountains. The teams coped well with the very difficult terrain and remained in good spirits as they navigated through this remote part of the Snowdonia national park.

No 612 Volunteer Gliding Squadron however maintains a small RAF presence and Benson still uses Abingdon for helicopter training and as a diversionary airfield.
