5 giorni fa · In 1808 the sixth Duke sold the house to George Hamilton Gordon, fourth Earl of Aberdeen, the statesman and philhellene, who lived there until his death in 1860. Lord Aberdeen bought No. 10 Argyll Place in 1823 and the garden of No. 22 Great Marlborough Street in 1827.
