A colorful but cloyingly sentimental and thinly plotted experience, The Garfield Movie left me with a case of the Mondays. Feeling entirely produced in boardrooms and focus groups, this adaptation of the beloved comic strip lacks the humor and soul that made Garfield a household name in the first place.
