His team used drones to fly above the gargantuan stately home (‘I feel so lucky to shoot in such beautiful places,’ he says) and captured the guests brandishing whizzing sparklers: ‘Drunk guests with sparklers is the most daunting thing,’ he laughs.

He died at Oxford of an apoplectic fit in August, 1731, but had apparently left No. 14, Downing Street, before this, for the ratebook for that year shows "Watkin Wynn Williams" at the house.

10 giu 2024 · John Winston Spencer Churchill, marquess of Blandford, lived there before succeeding to Blenheim in 1857. Thereafter the house was let to tenants, and from c. 1887 was occupied by a small private school. It was dilapidated by 1922, and was demolished in the later 1920s.
