You had ghastly, Tanith, Skulduggery, and Fletcher, all working together, against a squad of all the reocurring villains, like sanguine and dusk. I feel I could've put Dark Days up a tier. As you say, it's got a lot of fun interactions with the cast and a lot of great moments generally.
Don’t think it was mentioned, I know families had crests like skulduggery and ghastly. I assumed one of two things either Mevolent had his own family crest that was possibly used, or the unnamed had one since I remember it was mentioned that Mevolent took over from him.

There's a plentiful supply of torture, bloody deaths, a very sexy victim, incest and more.
