5 giorni fa · Julian Hedworth George Byng, Viscount Byng of Vimy was a British field marshal and a commander in World War I. A career soldier from 1883, Byng was promoted to major general in 1909. As commander of the Canadian Corps in France (from May 1916), he was responsible for one of the most famous Canadian.
