1 giorno fa · Tilly sent embassies to the landgrave of Hesse–Kassel ordering him to disband his forces, 6,000 of which were stationed in strongly placed cities. William refused Tilly' s order and assembled his forces at Kassel. Around this time, 8,000 fresh reinforcements arrived from Sweden.
