Russia would join the war very soon, declaring war on Austria and France. With Vienna falling quickly to the Germans, Austria got less harsh of a peace deal. France would lose Savoy & Nice to Italy, Northern Basque lands to Spain despite being run down by the French pretty quickly, and Alsace-Lorraine as well as Indochina to Germany.
