I would choose Tender Mercies over this one for a tale about a down and out country singer but Honkytonk has a few moments. I saw it. The music was better than the movie, honestly. Clint’s a jazz cat, good piano player and singer. He also sings in Bronco Billy and Gran Torino (End credits.) A man of many hats.
