2 giorni fa · The Holland estate. The thick line denotes the extent of the estate in Kensington purchased by Lord Holland in 1768. Based on the Ordanance Survey of 1894–6. A survey undertaken in 1770 (fn. 41) shows that the extent of the Holland estate was 237 acres, including one nine-acre field on the Hammersmith side of the parish boundary.
