Pieter van Vollenhoven Jr. (born April 30, 1939) is the husband of Princess Margriet of the Netherlands and a member, by marriage, of the Dutch royal house.
Pieter van Vollenhoven (Schiedam, 30 april 1939) is een Nederlands oud-praktijkhoogleraar, voorzitter van het Fonds Slachtofferhulp en oud-voorzitter van de Onderzoeksraad voor Veiligheid. Hij is de echtgenoot van prinses Margriet.
Prof. mr. Pieter van Vollenhoven is erevoorzitter van het Fonds Slachtofferhulp. Het Fonds ondersteunt en initieert projecten voor de verbetering van de positie van slachtoffers, nabestaanden en getuigen van misdrijven, verkeersongevallen en rampen in Nederland.
Until the end of 2014 Professor Van Vollenhoven was also Chair of the National Green Fund, which supports Dutch nature, woodland and landscape projects. He has more recently been appointed chair of several committees involved in developing a new approach to the Netherlands’ National Parks.

6 mag 2022 · Her Royal Highness Princess Margriet of the Netherlands and her husband Professor Pieter van Vollenhoven will pay an official visit to Ottawa, Canada from Thursday 12 May to Monday 16 May. The visit was originally planned for 2020, to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Netherlands.
