Stephen Richard Hackett, detto Steve (Londra, 12 febbraio 1950), è un cantante, chitarrista e compositore britannico di rock progressivo. È celebre soprattutto per il suo lavoro nei Genesis, con cui ha inciso otto album dal 1971 al 1977, per poi intraprendere la carriera solista.
Stephen Richard Hackett (born 12 February 1950) is an English guitarist who gained prominence as the lead guitarist of the progressive rock band Genesis from 1971 to 1977. Hackett contributed to six Genesis studio albums, three live albums, seven singles and one EP before he left to pursue a solo career.

Steve Hackett is renowned as an immensely talented and innovative rock musician. He was lead guitarist with Genesis as part of their classic line up with Gabriel, Collins, Banks and Rutherford, that produced acclaimed albums such as Selling England by the Pound (a favourite of John Lennon).
