Silk Degrees is the seventh album by Boz Scaggs, released on Columbia Records in 1976. The album peaked at #2 and spent 115 weeks on the Billboard 200. It has been certified five times platinum by the RIAA and remains Scaggs’s best selling album.

With Boz Scaggs, he co-wrote the songs “Miss Sun”, “Lido Shuffle”, and Grammy Award-Winning “Lowdown” from the multi-platinum album Silk Degrees. Around that same time, Paich and childhood friend, iconic studio drummer Jeff Porcaro wiggled their way onto two Steely Dan albums, which helped form some of their musical direction.
"Lido Shuffle" is a song written by Boz Scaggs and David Paich and introduced on the 1976 Boz Scaggs album Silk Degrees. It was subsequently released as a single in 1977 and was produced by Joe Wissert.
