Departments. The Faculty of History at Moscow State University is divided into fourteen departments. Each department is made up of faculty members whose academic specializations, research interests and expertise correspond to specific periods, geographic regions, socio-cultural phenomenon, or sub-disciplines of historical science.
Currently, over a 1000 students study at the Faculty, majoring in history of world art, history of Russian art, museology, preservation of natural and cultural heritage monuments, theory and practice of contemporary art, art design and a number of majors related to contemporary art.
The History of Art Department at UCL is one of the most dynamic centres for the study of art history in the world. Based in Bloomsbury, our staff and students have access to all of the incredible galleries, museums and libraries that London has to offer.
