In Search of Eddie Riff is an album by British musician Andy Mackay, first released on Island Records in 1974. The album was released during a brief hiatus from Roxy Music's recording schedule. A first version came out in 1974, with nine tracks, the lead single being a jazz cover of "Ride of the Valkyries".

23 set 2020 · 69. In 1974, Andy Mackay was still involved with Roxy Music and decided to go solo and show his saxophonic superpowers. It's fine as a sax album, I guess? Lots of covers, including "End of the World" and "The Long and Winding Road", which is only on the 1976 reissue that would become the "definitive" version.
