The Australian College of Theology (ACT) is an Australian higher education provider based in Sydney, New South Wales. The college delivers awards in ministry and theology. It is now one of two major consortia of theological colleges in Australia, alongside the University of Divinity.
Courses offered. The ACT offers specialist qualifications in ministry, theology, and Christian studies, ranging from Undergraduate Certificates through to doctoral degrees. Unless specified otherwise in the course details below, all awards are compliant with the Australian Qualifications Framework.
The ACT is offering units offers units contributing towards our specialist qualifications in ministry and theology. Coursework units in accredited courses are offered at five levels: AQF Level 5 units, which offer students an opportunity to show foundational knowledge and understanding of a topic;
The Australian College of Theology and the Affiliated Colleges are committed to excellence in learning, teaching, research, and high standards of scholarship in theological education.
The Australian College of Theology is a provider of accredited higher education courses in theology. It operates through a consortium of over 3,000 students enrolled in affiliated colleges approved to teach the awards of the ACT on its behalf.
Course Admission. Admittance to a course of the ACT is ultimately determined by the Australian College of Theology. Colleges affiliated with the ACT are permitted to advise students on eligibility criteria.
