Lady Cynthia Rosalie Postan ( née Keppel; 25 June 1918 – 12 November 2017) was a British debutante, secretary for MI5, translator and editor, horticulturalist, and porcelain collector.

Ceanothus ‘Cynthia Postan’. This extremely attractive shrub was first planted in the Garden in the 1970s, having been given to us by Lady Cynthia Postan. It was later named to honour Lady Postan when it was exhibited at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
