MORGANTOWN, W.V. – Max Broughton scored off a corner kick in the 82nd minute to lift the five-seed West Virginia past Vermont 2-1 Saturday evening in the third round of the NCAA Tournament from Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium. The Catamounts complete the 2023 campaign with a record of 13-6-2.
