The Whole Thing Started with Rock and Roll Now It's Out of Control is the second studio album by American singer and keyboardist Ray Manzarek. Released on the Mercury label in 1974, the album did not succeed and failed in sales. It was also Manzarek's last album before forming the now defunct rock band Nite City in 1977. Track listing

29 gen 2017 · The Whole Thing Started With Rock & Roll Now It's Out Of Control is an album of extreme variety, in both style and mood. Really the damn thing is all over the place, and I for one actually enjoy it. The more jazzy elements mesh perfectly with the semi-blue eyed soul meets early rock and roll throw back feel.
